Group Work

Our group’s campaign focuses on the struggle for black women to find products that actually work for their hair. We have noticed that a lot of well-known high street beauty stores such as Superdrug and Boots do not have much hair products which cater to black hair, but the ones they have are very expensive and well-known such as Shea Moisture and Cantu.

Most of the TV advertising campaigns that we see on TV are based on products that are not really specialised for black hair such as head and shoulders and L’Oréal.

So, we would like to design a product which is specially made for black women at a cheaper price and to be sold in both hair shops (which sell black hair products already) and high street beauty stores.

Our target audience black women of all ages from the young to the elderly. The product will be placed at a reasonable price so people who cannot afford the most expensive products can purchase this as it does similar things for the hair just like all the other brands.

In our campaign we will have women who are current struggling to find decent products for their hair and let them try out our products and show their results before and after the use of our product.

Afro – Caribbean hair breaks and tangles easily and some of the conditioners sold are oily which leave the hair looking dull and greasy because they attract dust and dirt.

We will include products that meets the requirements made by the women that they would like to see after the product is made such as: having shine to the hair (making the hair look shiny), smoothness, hair growth, strength and keeping the hair feeling healthy.
