Negative Issues

Within the past couple of years, especially this year, we have noticed an increase in social issues such as crimes and homelessness.

In 2017, something unexpected happened, which was the growth of terror attacks that were taking place. the first terror attack was in March at Westminster when a Muslim convert drove his vehicle into innocent pedestrians on Westminster Bridge killing about 4 or 5 people, two or three of who were from other countries on holiday and amongst the dead was a police officer, PC Keith Palmer whom we he stabbed to death. He also left about 50 people injured.
Two months later we saw another terrorist attack at Manchester at the Ariana Grande Concert, where a young Islamic man bombed the concert arena shortly after Ariana Grande performed killing 22 people some of which where young children.


In June, we saw another attack on London Bridge, when a group men were driving in a white van and deliberately drove into innocent civilians.

Shortly after that attack, there was another one, but this time towards the Muslims at a Mosque in London, where a British man drove a white van into a crowd of Muslims who had just finished having prayers at the mosque. One man died after the attacks and he left a few injured.

Earlier in September, there was bomb on board a train in London which had not exploded but slightly lit up causing a few people to have injuries. Later on they found the suspect who had planted it on the train. He was Muslim man.

Recently, there have been at least 4 terrorist attacks towards the end of October. The first was in Las Vegas at another concert, by another white man. He killed 58 people and injured around 515 people.

The next attack was in Somalia where many people were injured and killed by a local group of terrorists. This attack was not globally shared on social media as compared to the others.

Moving on from the terrorist attacks, there was an issue of an increase in homelessness in Britain, news footage didn't just focus on the usual example of homelessness, but a new one where people are able to pay their bills but are not able to by food to eat, so they are having no choice but to go to food banks to get money and some are stuck between the decisions of paying their bills and not eating or not paying their bills and becoming homeless.

Recently, there has been an increase in knife attacks across London, when on Saturday 28th October, another teenage was killed in Croydon and has become the 21st teenage to be killed in the past year under the age of 25.

Finally another issue that has been seen in the news off late is the increase in moped crimes. It seems like criminals are now using moped's to steal people's phones or steal from shops and the police are finding new ways to catch them.

    You used examples and presented some issues in society. You could have gone into more detail about the actual way the issues were represented

3 uses of mood boards Mood boards are used to gather images for a project to give the person an idea as to what they should include in their project. Gives hints to the audience about what the project is about e.g. the genre. 3 uses of storyboards Storyboards are used to build the events featured in the project in order e.g. film trailer. Allows you to figure out what shots and angles need to be used. 3 differences between mood boards and storyboards A storyboard is more detailed as compared to a Mood board. A mood board is a collage of images that are used to hep you figure out what genre the film is about and a storyboard shows the order in which the trailer goes. A story board is a rough plan of how the film trailer would look like before it is created and finished.

Analysis of the video: AXE Sunar: Welcome to The Jungle - Novo Amor

At the beginning of the video, the screen is black and then the title of the video appears saying “welcome to the jungle”. From this I can picture a noisy and crazy atmosphere from the word jungle. From the word jungle I picture danger, unknown species and tribes. Then after the title appears a car appears drifting with making any screeching noises even though we usually hear cars making screeching noises.
